Calneggia Family Wines is extremely proud to share with you all that recently our 2013 Rosabrook Single Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded 96 points by James Halliday. We would like to share with you what Halliday wrote;
“Hand-picked, open-fermented; matured for 12 months in French oak (45% new). Margaret River continues to throw down the gauntlet to Coonawarra, seeking to make Australia’s best cabernets. This has all the autocratic cadences and flavours of pretenders to the Bordeaux throne, blackcurrant, cedar, earth and black olive flavours, with seamless, but persistent, tannins underpinning both the quality and length of the full-bodied palate.”
