Hosted by Selector magazine’s Paul Diamond, this annual sell-out event will take you on a unique journey through some of the world’s most revered regions with 12 fantastic Champagne and Sparkling wines to sip and savour, along with a delicious grazing table to enjoy.
Starting with Cava, you’ll taste the Segura Viudas Gran Reserva 2013, before pitting the Italian Pizzini 2018 Prosecco, with a fantastic Italian example; Calneggia Asolo Prosecco N.V.
Then it’s France and Australia, with the Ruinart Blanc de Blanc Champagne NV alongside Helen & Joey Inara Blanc de Blanc and Umamu Sparkling Chardonnay 2012, plus Taittinger Brut Reserve NV Champagne to compare with the Chandon Vintage Brut 2015 and Swift Sparkling Brut Cuvee NV, a drop that topped our Tasting Panel’s Best Sparkling of 2019.
Next is a round of delectable Rosé, with Moët & Chandon Imperial Rosé NV along with Taittinger Prestige Rosé Champagne NV beside the Howard Park Jete Rosé.
And last but not least, it’s that Aussie specialty, Sparkling Shiraz, from Bleasdale to finish a fabulously fizz-filled day.
