Margaret River produces some outstanding sauvignon blanc/semillon belnds and if your penchant is for enjoying them when they aer at their freshest and most vibrant then this is a wine that you should make the effort to track down. It is as crisp as the water from a mountain stream, as pungent as newly-baled hay and fruiter than an old-style English comedian. Imagine vibrant lifted aromas that leap out of the glass; lime citrus notes alongside hints of passionfruit and guava; and then throw in some brisk, refreshing acid. This blend of 55% sauvignon blanc and 45% semillon has been entirely fermented in stainless steel and is hopefully a harbinger of good thing to come from the 2015 vintage out west. Drink now. It’s spectacular value, too, at $20.

The Real Review – Nick Butler
“Great energy and balance in the aromatics – ripe lemons and passionfruit. The palate is creamy and fruit is beautifully balanced. Very good winemaking and blending at play. A high-quality offering at this price.” 93 points

“A roughly 50/50% blend, cold-fermented in stainless steel. It’s a familiar theme as soon as you put your nose in the glass – pea pod and mown grass, passionfruit and mango or something similarly tropical. A well crafted example of the style, deft winemaking utilising good quality fruit. Chill it down and drink it, don’t think long and hard about it.” 91 points
