A lifted perfumed, light bodied style of the classic Margaret River Cab Sauv. Lovely red fruit, floral notes with hints of dried herbs on the nose. On the palate, the wine is light on its feet, pretty and elegant with fine powdery tannins giving length and texture.
Product Tasting Notes
WINEMAKER’S NOTE: A lifted perfumed, light bodied style of the classic Margaret River Cab Sauv. Lovely red fruit, floral notes with hints of dried herbs on the nose. On the palate, the wine is light on its feet, pretty and elegant with fine powdery tannins giving length and texture.
VINTAGE: Wet spring and combination of rain events and warm temperature during summer made for long ripening in 2021. The humidity levels created challenging conditions for some areas in the region. However, good draining and ventilated sites benefited from the slow maturation and provided fruit with good flavour and fine tannins in red varieties.
VINEYARDS: Fruit for this wine was select harvested from our small estate vineyard of the Rosabrook property.
VINIFICATION: Selective harvest whole berry pick, open fermenter partial carbonic fermentation, natural ferment, matured 6 months in seasoned French oak barriques. Unfined, unfiltered and vegan.

90/100 The Real Review – 2022
CFV –
“Bright, fresh and snappy aromas: raspberry, red cherry, brambles, dried flowers, menthol and spice. The flavours are red and blue fruit driven, lively and tangy and with just the right amount of grippy tannin. There’s real life and vivacity to the palate, not overly complex, but a lip-smacking, juicy and very smashable wine.” Aaron Brasher – The Real Review – 2022
