Product Tasting Notes
Bunkers celebrates some of Margaret River’s greatest surf breaks. The region is a magnet for both wine lovers and surfers from all over the world.
Not for the faint-hearted, the Lefthanders break is a blend of big unpredictable swells with a jagged, rocky finish. The wine of the same name will treat you a lot more kindly. Raise your left hand and savour the freshness and intensity of this crisp Margaret River gem. Goofy footer!

CFVWine –
2014 vintage. James Halliday (Halliday Wine Companion 2016)
“Plenty of fruit around its belly but it still manages to cut a fine figure. Lemongrass, gravel and tropical fruit with a textural element and good push of flavour towards and through the finish.” 91 POINTS
CFV –
Halliday Wine Companion: “The ‘left hander’ is a particularly dangerous surf break in Margaret River. Drinkability is the only dangerous aspect of this 64/36% blend; sauvignon gently tropical, semillon the tent pegs. Will flourish with more bottle age.” (2019 vintage)
CFV –
The Real Review – Stuart Knox: “Green peppers and lime zest aromas. Lemon and lime fruits intermix with fresh green herbs and a touch of grapefruit pith. Zippy acid keeping it fresh and lively along the palate. Bright and clean.” (2019 vintage)
