WINEMAKER’S NOTE: Bright red purple with medium intensity. Fine tannins across the palate together with spiced cherry flavours.
VINTAGE: The 2016 was especially a benign vintage for whites and early reds. The maturation period through the growing season saw the normal Margaret River weather patterns giving rise to good canopy development and soil moisture levels with good maturities across all varieties.
VINEYARDS: Our vineyards are in northern Margaret River with soils of mostly fine clay loams over ironstone. All vines are vertically shoot positioned and run in north south aspect.
VINIFICATION: Fermented for seven days on skins, pressed and run off to oak, the wine was matured for twelve months prior to release.
