WINEMAKER’S NOTE: Red-purple in colour with lifted, rich, mature fruit aromas. A medium bodied palate is complemented with fine tannins and a succulent, spicy finish.
VINTAGE: A warmish start to the vintage was later moderated by cooler conditions and saw a fine vintage of consistent quality fruit.
VINIFICATION: Partially fermented in open vats and matured in oak for nine months, fined and clarified before bottling.
