WINEMAKER’S NOTE: Made by the saignée technique – that is to “bleed off” juice from a red wine has given us a savoury but delicate style.
VINTAGE: The 2017 vintage in Margaret River was exceptional for Rosé wines.
VINEYARDS: Our vineyards are mainly in the northern end of the winemaking zone, helping us to make this style with ease.
VINIFICATION: Red juice was run off several of our red wine ferments, lightly clarified and then fermented in stainless steel. Bottled early to retain freshness.
VARIETAL/S Merlot 37%, Cabernet 36%, Malbec 15% and Shiraz 12%. Small parcels of other varieties
